The wife’s finally gone back to work this morning. She has to close off things she’s had on the go with Qantas ready for her move at the end of next week and there’s a possibility she’ll have to ‘hand over’ to a new person as well… if they can find anyone of course.
It’s been really nice having her around for such a long period… almost like old times… but , unless we come up on the lottery I can’t see her having so much time away from work again for ages.
I’ve had this dream since we’ve been here of buying a Winnebago and travelling around to look at the sights etc of Australia. I doubt it’ll ever come true for me. I’m already getting too old. Besides, the wife isn’t a ‘drifter’, she likes to be around familiar places and have friends to call when she needs them. I on the other hand seem to be quite happy to be a loner mostly… which is probably a psychological symptom of some sort… but whether we do ever get to wander off following the sun… it’s nice to have a dream 😀
