The unqualified, would-be historian turned holocaust denier, British idiot David Irving (69), is to be released from an Austrian prison and will be allowed to serve the remainder of his two year sentence on probation.
Austria is one of several countries that has laws making denying the Nazi atrocities of World War Two a crime. I have no idea how someone like Irving latched onto the notion the holocaust was a lie… but it’s really hard to explain the disappearence of 11 million people during the war… the vast majority Jews… let alone the huge weight of supporting evidence unless it was true.
Hopefully he has now seen the error of his ways and will go somewhere quiet where he can mull over where he first stepped onto the path that led from Brentwood, UK, to a prison cell and spend the remainder of his days there banging his head against a wall.
Actually… saying he’ll be ‘home for Xmas’ is a bit of a mistake. He *has* no home. His home in London’s Mayfair and all his assets were seized when he was unable to pay the costs incurred in a failed libel case (1998) against Deborah Lipstadt and Penguin books.
I wonder if his mother was proud of him?
