It’s amazing people still take an notice of Damir Dokic. He wrecked the career of his tennis playing daughter Jelena, was banned from virtually every tennis court on 5 continents because of his behaviour, moved the family out of Australia (his adopted land) to Croatia, drove Jelena to distraction on so many occasions she now avoids contact with him almost completely. And yet he *still* manages to generate publicity by interfering in his daughters life.
His latest claim was that Tin Bikic, Jelena’s boyfriend, has effectively kidnapped her and is set on destroying her career. Helena herself has strongly denied his claims and is asking only that hs be left alone to try to rebuild her shattered dreams as far asway from him as possible.
It might be too late for her now. Even though she’s ranked 16th in Australia… in world rankings she’s down to 583… a long way away from her highest position at 4 all those years ago.
