I’m waiting for Dire Straits to bring out a new version of “Money For Nothing” and maybe Sting will sing this new refrain instead of the original. Anyway… I have my new PDA. So far I’ve not a clue how to use it properly… but *this* time I’ll be spending a lot of time learning how.
It comes with a reasonable level of access to the internet so can be used ‘on the road’ for receiving e-mails or sending photos etc… and can even be used as a modem for the lappie if needed. Takes so-so quality photos compared to a dedicated camera… but as I want them for the web the 2Mb lens will be more than adequate. Look forward to more snaps of my day… assuming I go anywhere… lol !!!
One new thing I discovered is that it is set up to allow for use as a video phone… so in theory it would even work with an instant messengeras a web-cam. Can’t see me doing that though.
Only thing left to buy really is a cradle to support it when it sits by the computer… or when charging… and a 2 gigabyte mini-SD card to store photos and to backup onto. Other than that… I have to charge up my Bluetooth accessories (hands free speakerphone, earpiece and keyboard) and I’ll be set up to be a ‘mobile warrior’.
And oh yes… I can use if for it’s primary function… to make myself lists so I stop forgetting what the hell I’m doing… or not! Now… how do I make sure I don’t lose *this* one…??? 🙂
