On top of yesterdays embarrassment comes todays total humiliation for the English cricket team as Australia brushed them aside like flies round the dunny.
In answer to Australia’s opening innings of 602 for 9… the Poms response was a pathtic 157 all out. To add further insult… the Aussies in their second innings reached a seriously simple 181 for 1.
The crowd were so enthralled by the ‘battle of champions’ that after the tea the ground was less than half full as people wandered off to watch something more interesting that the Aussies smashing the Poms again… things like watching paint drt… or grass grow.
Is this really the English team that took the Ashes from Australia just last year? I find it *very* hard to believe.
