Has anything really improved in the Middle East?? Osama bin Laden is still wandering free doing his thing without let or hinderance as far as anyone knows. The moderate Sunni’s have lost ground dramatically, and the far more aggresive Shi’ites are in the ascendency.
An unholy alliance between Iraq and their old foe Iran now seems more on the cards than ever before which leaves Israel in one of the most unenviable positions of any country in the past 100 years.
By their own blundering ineptitude the USA may well have led the way to the creation of a super Arab state which would by definition by a Super Power… if only by virtue of the fact that it would control the largest majority of the worlds oil supplies.
Well done little shrublet… your masters will be proud of you.
