Wouldn’t it be nice if someone produced a tool that linked a PDA, to the Internet to a GPS system and then combined it with huge storage?
I suggest this because I was thinking how nice it would be to be able to type in the location of a place and associate an activity with it so that it reminds you when you’re in the proximity of the place?
Instead of the usual reminders that say “It’s 10:00 – get yer hair cut” or whatever… to have something say “You’re near your barbers – you wanted to be reminded about a haircut.”.
This would have really useful implications! For tourism perhaps. You would look up sites you might like to visit one day… and add them to your list of possible interests and then if by chance (or design) you were *near* that place… you’d be reminded.
Anyone out there want to create new kind of reminder software?
