Ethics in the UK have taken a nose dive as it lurches towards a science-fictionesque future where the disabled or anyone thought to be inferior can be euthanised quietly.
With the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology, suggesting new born children with disabilites should be legally euthanised it would appear eugenics is once again rearing its ugly head. Ok on the face of it it *seems* sensible enough… after all families with disabled kids often *do* suffer economic and emotional hardship… and yet… there seems to be something horribly wrong with the suggestion.
This just *has* to be wrong… surely??
