Well here I am, sitting in the cafe at the ice rink, hot chocolate next to me, kids away from me and with no obvious connection to the net. I like this wireless deal… I’ve a 1Mb connection with no hassles whatever!
It has it’s drawbacks tho. This ISP only operates around Sydney so if I move out of their coverage area I lose the signal… but for what it is it’s pretty good.
Telstra has just released it’s 3G network but I’ve no idea how it’s speeds compare or costs come to that. If the costs and speeds were comparable I might switch… just to be able to connect around Oz… otherwise… this’ll just have to do. No complaints either way, I have friends who are still on dial-up.
