Temperature hit 37ºC today… a bit high for early Spring – nice though.
Kids went to the skating rink to try out their new skates and I say around whinging because of a *really* painful ulcer on the side of my tongue… I’m off to the doctor tomorrow ao I’ll ask him about it while I’m there.
Anyway… as it happens there was a group of their schoolfriends there which we’d sort of known about and totally forgotten… off the went showing off their new skates etc… so after all, and quite accidentally, they had quite a nice ‘last day of the hols’!
Then off to the garden centre to pick up plants and a few soaker hoses… I think I need to take extra care of the garden this year or the whole lot will dry out and die. It’s a good thing we’re on a recycled water system… and that we aren’t restricted in our use of it… or the garden would be in real trouble.
Came home, after that a bit to late to do the garden so watched “I Robot” again followed by the ‘live’ “Peter Pan”… which is still a pretty good film!
So… off to bed. We’re supposed to be helping out at the Guides Sausage Sizzle again tomorrow… not sure how when we’ll be in Penrith at the same time as we are supposed to be grilling and sweating 😀
Ah well… I’ve never been reliable me…
