Police have caught six people allegedly setting some of the fires in the Hunter Valley this week. Amongst them, they’ve charged two… one of them a 14 year old boy.
With the weather situation in Australia so volatile and the drought so desperate it agan makes me wonder just what goes through these kids minds when they do this sort of thing. Rebelling against society is one thing… but people regularly *die* in these fires and many more lose everything they own.
If the case can be proved I hope they throw the book at them.
