Mirza Tahir Hussain – fated to lose.

In Pakistan in a tiny cell a UK man waits to be killed. His name is Mirza Tahir Hussain and he is innocent of the crime for which he is to die.

When he was 18 he got into an altercation with a taxi driver who pulled a gun on him and tried top rape him. He resisted, the gun went off killing the taxi driver. Mizra drove the taxi to the police station and handed in the gun with an explanation of what happened.

After trying to persuade him to bribe them, they eventually charged him with murder. Luckily the court accepted his version of events and he was found not guilty. However, less luckily the Sharia Court then convicted him and he was sentenced to death.

Eighteen years have passed since then and he has now exhausted all avenues of appeal and it will be a matter of days before he is killed… he may in fact be dead already though of course we hope not.

Urgent appeals need to be made to *anyone* who can help. It isn’t too late until it’s too late.
