According to News.com, one of Telstra boss Sol Trujillo’s top managers is accusing the government of running a “a “vile and vicious” personal campaign against the Telstra CEO”.
As if they’d need to. This is a CEO that has sat and watched Telstra shares collpase in value by a massive AU$18 billion… while he himslef was awarded a $2.58 million *bonus* bringing his total package to nearly AU$9 million.
Ih this guy is paid on performance like the rest of us it would seem that the worse off Telstra is, the better off *he* is. Nice work if you can get it though.
Any conspiracy theorists out there want to make something of the fact Mr Trujillo is American and so is the majority of the ‘new blood’ he instlled to make sure the company was run the way he wanted it to be??
