You may have noticed I’ve started to move away from the ‘pure text’ offerings of the past and started adding photos. This is really because I think there are some things that require a permanent photographic record and while I’ve strained to *not* do it I suppose fighting against the tide just puts me in the same position of King Knut that old British king. So… I decided to go with the flow.
Will I add pictures I’ve taken myself? Well yes… tho it’s a pain to have to resize them it’ll be silly *not* to do it so look forward to a more colourful OA 😀

I know what you mean about resizing being a pain. Most of the time the photos I post are taken specifically for the blog. What I do is set the picture definition to VGA. This produces a nice 640 x 480 image that fits nicely on a blog straight off. It only takes a second to change when taking pictures.
I tend to take pictures at the best possible resolution regardless… just in case I want to keep them 🙂
Maybe a better bet would be to take *two* cameras… one for blog pics and the other as keepers… well ok maybe not. Still, now I think of it, I could use the PDA camera for blog shots… since snaps with that are low res by definition, and tend to be reall spur of the moment quickies! Now there’s an idea I can work on… if the insurance comes through to let me replace the PDA… again.
