L is for Landscaper. Tomorrow we finally get to have this ongoing saga put to bed. Well I’m assuming it will be tomorrow. SInce the last time I wrote anything on this all sorts of things have happened.
We’ve been to court three times, well would have except once we forgot and we had to enlist the services of a solicitor to represent us in order to get the case reopened or we’d have been up for the entire amout… even the bits the guy himself admitted we don’t owe him.
Also, he claims to have had a heart attack… so it’s debateable whether or not he’ll even fron up to court or claim a ‘sickie’ and drag it out still further – which of course would add considerably to our expenses.
Whichever way it goes we won’t ‘win’. Any money we slash off his bill will go to the solicitor to pay his fees… we just don’t want to let this guy make any more profit out of the crap job he did.
