For reasons I still don’t fully understand… being almost asleep… the wife’s alarm went off at 5:30 this morning and up she got to shower and get ready to go off to work. This early? I thought she’d finished having to go in early once all the redundancies she’s been handling had all gone through…. nope.
Anyway I stagger downstairs to make her sandwiches etc for lunch and let the dogs out to wake the neighbours :D.
It’s then I discover It was *really* cold! Was below 2 degrees centigrade when I looked at the thermometer in the car!
No idea why… ok it’s the middle of winter but I’m wearing my usual outfit, t-shirt and shorts… so it shouldn’t feel *that* cold. Then I realise I left a window open all night. Grrr….. could’ve been murdered in our beds!
That would’ve been a shame… it’s ‘Census Night’ tonight and the wife filled the forms in *last* night so they’d be ready… so if we were murdered in our beds all that work would’ve been wasted.
