Having used this theme (MW 1.0) for a day or so I’m wondering it is ‘right’ for me. I’m not really happy with the layout… it seems too cluttered and hard to navigate. I’ll have a look around for a different one. WordPress has a thriving community of developers so there has to be a load of themes that’ll do… even if I lose the adverts :)Â For a start there is this one called ‘Revved Up’ which I quite like… tho I might experiment a bit and remove the background image etc to see how it looks when ‘clean’.
Part of the problem is trying to draw attention to the ‘Money Maker’ pages without overpowering the blog itself, which after all is the main purpose of the site… hmmm… anybody got some suggestions??

Well….. Its better than the Green Monstrosity that I saw this morning.
But. It’s still, as you say yourself, an absolute navigational nightmare. Or maybe a Welshdog’s dinner.
By the way, who the F**k is the Adam Ant lookalike?
And what is the R Zone?

Take a look at my site: AlexRaiano.com. I pretty much modified the MW theme so that it does what I want it to do. Let me know if you are interested in getting the changes that I made. I’m thinking about redistributing it with my changes.
I thought the green colours were quaite naice 😀 but maybe the subdued blue has a better look.
In some ways I like this layout and it’s a pity it isn’t exactly what I need. I suppose I could sit down and modify it myself but that’d be the easy way… and where’s the fun in that? I’ll have a hack at someone else’s theme first and see if I can make it be more in look the way I want. More on that next week I suppose.
In response to Phannie’s comment about the ‘Revved Up’ theme… I have no idea who he is but he’s on his way out as soon as I find a halfway decent picture of Australia I can use as a substitute 🙂
