Well that was a fizzer. I’d not realised we’re still limited to a 2mb image upload. The phone takes images of 4mb and upwards which means at least on extra step to reduce the size. I’ll go look at Lightroom mobile and see if they have a simple and straightforward method. 🙁
Ok that was both a bit late and a bit early in some ways. What got me worked up was being able to finally update my blog via my phone. It’s probably my been possible for years but I’m probably a bit late to the party.
Next step is to activate the gallery to let me add photos on the fly. This would mean I could almost abandon Facebook and ‘socialise’ via the blog. I’m almost excited. 🙂
Here we go again. So where do we start… maybe a list of the places I lived all these years could be a start. Also, they’d no doubt remind me of more and more stories!! So, as you’ll see. I’ve moved about a bit in my 68 years…… for example…
In Caerffili I’ve lived in… Bartlett Street, Dan-y-Coed, St Martin’s Road, White Street, Princes Rise, Newport, London, Barry, Princes Rise, Lansbury Park, Princes Avenue.
From Caerffil to Pencoed… Deri Avenue.
From Pencoed to Sarn… Crescent Road )I think… will check!).
From Sarn to Pontycymmer… Upper Adare Street
From Pontycymmer to London… Lutheran Flat (will have to ask), Whitecross Street
From London to Croydon… not sure of that address.
From Croydon to Caerffili… Princes Rise.
From Caerffili to Wallendbeen… (that was a biggie)…
From Wallendbeen to… South Wentworthville…
From South Wentworthville to Penrith…
From Penrith to Kellyville… York Road
From Kellyville to Rouse Hill… McGilvray Place
From Rouse Hill to Kenthurst… Lang Road
From Kenthurst to… undetermined right now. 🙂
Seems, unless I’ve forgotten a few moves, I’ve lived in at least 24 places… not counting the places I’ve lived in temporarily such as a couple of months in Goodge Street, a few months in Butlin’s Barry and a year in staff quarters in a hotel in Newport!!!
I think maybe the stories will take a long time so perhaps it would be wise to write them up one at a time. 🙂
I’ve got a few domains… few of which are actually used… including a couple of blogs. The one I used for several years was (is?) called Opinion Australia but the domain name and title really negated my using it for ‘everything’. I could chat forever about politics and how I se the world around me… but as an opinion site general chat was a bit ‘off’. Now of course, I can ramble to my hearts content.
